VOLUNTEERING

Age Concern South Lakeland currently has over 250 volunteers that regularly give their time to help and support elderly people in South Lakeland.

We have a number of volunteering opportunities at Age Concern South Lakeland and we offer placements to young people looking for work experience or for people looking to get back into work. We work closely with local orgnisations such as Impact Housing, Making Space, Rathborne, Oaklea Trust and have built up an excellent working relationship with local schools, colleges and universities.
