As an independent local charity, we have to raise all our own funds to support our work with older people here in South Lakeland. Some of our income comes from service contracts with Health & Social Services, some from Charitable Trusts and other grant making bodies, some from the generosity of individuals in the form of legacies and donations.

A large proportion of the funds which are used to provide the services detailed on this website, comes from the money raised in our shops.

All our shops sell a wide range of ladies, men's and children's clothing, books, kitchen equipment, bric-a-brac and household linens.

At the Warehouse we also have a wide selection of all types of furniture, electrical goods (checked by a qualified electrician) household goods, kitchenware etc at very reasonable prices. Bulky donated items can be collected (free of charge) and delivered (a small charge is made).

All our retail charity shops could not run without the contribution and commitment from volunteers.
