SOCIAL LUNCH CLUBS

Age Concern South Lakeland run a network of Social lunch Clubs in towns and villages throughout the area - where people can meet old friends and make new ones, or simply enjoy a delicious meal with good company and comfortable surroundings

The Social Lunch Clubs are open to everyone over 55, and you are welcome to come along on your own, with a partner or with someone you know. Our volunteer organisers ensure that everyone gets to know each other, and that any dietary requirements or special arrangements you need are attended to.

When and Where ?

Lunch Clubs meet on a specific day once a month. Full details of venues are below. The cost of meals are negotiated between the establishment providing the venue and Age Concern South Lakeland, to ensure they are reasonably priced and always good value for money. Please note that Age Concern do not provide transport to or from the Lunch Clubs, although members are often able to share lifts or taxis.

Members attending our Lunch Clubs have the added benefit of receiving our monthly newsletter, and the opportunity to access additional services provided by Age Concern and other agencies
