FUNDRAISING

We are most grateful to our current local government, company and trust funders:
  • Cumbria County Council
  • Comic Relief
  • Awards for All
  • The Warm Home Campaign Awards Scheme
  • The Eric Wright Group
  • The Big Lottery
  • The Tudor Trust
  • Opportunities for Volunteering Scheme
  • Lloyds TSB Foundation

and to the many individual donors who have given so generously through remembering us in their wills or making gifts.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

By Making a Donation

We really welcome all gifts towards the cost of our work - however small. Every little bit helps with our work for older people.

Donations can be made by cheque payable to Age Concern South Lakeland. [Gift Aid declarations can be obtained from Val McConnell, our Administrative Officer, if you are still paying tax]. If you would like to make a regular contribution by direct debit please contact our Finance Officer, Brendan Drury.

Val and Brendan can be contacted at our Finkle Street Centre, 17 Finkle Street, Kendal LA9 4AB [ Tel: 015397 28118]

By Remembering Us in Your Will

Donations kindly left to Age Concern South Lakeland in wills and trusts have made a tremendous difference to the success of our work. If the time is right for you, we would like you to consider leaving a gift to us through your will or by adding a codicil to your existing will. This will help us to continue to work towards providing choices, opportunities and respect for older people in South Lakeland.

CURRENT FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES
We are currently fundraising for:

  • our Welfare Benefits Advice Service
  • our support for those considering the move into nursing and residential care
