ADVOCACY SERVICE Advocacy is available where a client has (with or without help from Age Concern) identified what he/she would like to do to tackle a problem. Examples of agencies we can help you tackle might include private firms (consumer issues) or public authorities such as Social Services, Health Care (E.g. Doctors/Hospitals, etc) the Department for Work and Pensions, South Lakeland District Council, or any other agency with whom a client needs advocacy help. We guarantee absolute confidentiality and will only carry out those tasks you authorise us to do. There is no charge for this service.
