Like all Age Concerns, Age Concern South Lakeland, is an independent local charity providing information, advice and support for people in South Lakeland who are over 55 (or who care for someone who is). Our aim is to support people to maintain their independence for as long as possible and enjoy maximum quality of life.

Age Concern South Lakeland is a member of the Age Concern federation, and we work together to raise the national profile of people over 55 and campaign on matters, which are important to them.

Our services are provided in the heart of the community - often in your own home. We have over two hundred fully trained volunteers who deliver our services, with the guidance of specialist staff, who are experts in their own fields.
